Its flexibility and natural appearance make it attractive for both traditional and modern architecture.
No construction project can succeed without sand and cement. These materials are the foundation of concrete production, plastering, and masonry work. The quality of sand and cement directly affects the strength and durability of the final structure, making them indispensable in almost every project.
For finishing touches, ceramic tiles remain the most widely used flooring and wall covering material. They are affordable, easy to clean, resistant to moisture, and available in countless designs. While granite and other premium materials are becoming more common, ceramics continue to offer the best balance between cost, aesthetics, and durability.
The popularity of these materials is no coincidence. They are widely available, cost-effective, and well-suited to Indonesia’s tropical environment. While new technologies and innovative materials will continue to emerge, concrete, steel, bricks, wood, cement, and ceramics are likely to remain the foundation of Indonesian construction for many years to come.
